The main tasks and challenges
We were contacted by the Swiss company Initium, which wanted to create a convenient platform for masters who want to improve their qualifications in various courses. The workshops have existed in Geneva and Le Noirmont since 2015, where jewelry and mechanical watches are made according to old traditions, and these traditions are preserved by craftsmen to this day.Considering the whole work scale, our experts use technologies including:
- Laravel is a popular framework used to develop web applications and PHP programming language is used for the framework. The main advantage of Laravel is that this framework provides developers with convenient and powerful tools for developing effective and modern web solutions.
- ReactJS is a frontend library used to create interfaces. Most commonly used for developing dynamic web pages, it is this framework that is used by a large number of companies for their sites, applications, and other web solutions.
Solution
We have created an online platform, that allows everyone to take various offline workshops and training courses on jewelry and mechanical watch manufacturing. For each of these courses, flexible dates are calculated so that everyone can study conveniently. The level of preparation for the courses does not matter, but the number of places for each training class is limited. Training courses are available in English and French.
